Now, imagine this. You wake up one day and all the leads you have made on your social media channels were gone.
What would you do?
If you're like me, you'd curl right up on your bed, stare at your phone and let the water works flow... then go through all the stages of grief LOL.
I bit dramatic, i know, but this is how important leads are to a business.
So, this is why a subscriber list is the bees knees for any business.
But how do grow your mailing list?
You might be thinking, but what is a lead magnet!?
Well, let me tell you something, you actually already know, but just might not realise it.
Anything that requires you to give your email address is a lead magnet.
Some are pretty crappy but some are actually great!
Every business should be using them to build up a kick butt mailing list.
Let’s say you’ve gotten 1,000 people subscribing to your daily or weekly email list.
Each new email goes out to all 1,000 members full of special deals, discounts, or whatever fancies them.
Out of that 1,000, about 200 buy that day’s product or that week’s product.
That’s a good amount of change for just sending out an email.
Lead magnets should give value - give people i reason to want to sign-up.
These could include:
- Check lists
- Free training
So, what to take away from this... lead magnets are the bees knees and you should be using them in your biz to build your kick butt mailing list.
